Challenges faced in IT SECTOR: 1. Requirements Gathering: Requirements gathering, or requirements elicitation, is the process of determining all the requirements of a project. There are two main types of project requirements, business and technical requirements. The project manager’s challenges start from gathering requirements of the project/product. Usually in Indian scenario, the project manager rarely gets a chance to communicate with the end-users of the project. If that happens there will be fewer chances for ambiguity in the requirements. Hence, the customer should facilitate a meeting between the project manager and the end-user. Once the functional specifications are ready, the designed discussions can take place.
